My Construction Adjudication Practice

With over 20 years experience in resolving construction and engineering claims at all levels, I understand the industry and I know the anatomy of a construction dispute thoroughly. I have acted for parties in some of the largest infrastructure adjudications in recent years – claims of up to £100 million. Equally, I have wide experience of much more modest adjudications. I believe in the adjudication process. Used properly, it is a swift and cost-effective solution, and I look forward to its wider acceptance in industries other than the construction industry. It could revolutionise the speed and cost of dispute resolution.

I provide fast, accurate and thorough adjudication decisions on all of the usual types of construction dispute, particularly where the dispute relates to issues arising from the exercise of the contractual machinery (for example, payment certificates and withholding, extensions of time, liquidated damages, defects liability and so on), or contract interpretation, or professional negligence.

I trained as an adjudicator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators' Accelerated Route to Fellowship Programme, one of the toughest entry routes in the UK and a benchmark for skill and quality.

I accept appointments direct from disputants.

I am currently able to offer extremely competitive hourly and fixed fee rates for appointments.
